 The
Hill Country Master Gardeners formed in 2002
with membership open to
citizens of Kerr and surrounding counties. Today
our organization has more than 80
members who serve in
partnership with
Texas AgriLife Extension
Service,
an agency of Texas A&M University. Statewide,
there are more than
5,000 volunteer Master Gardeners working in 115
Texas counties.
Members of Hill Country
Master Gardeners, like Master Gardeners
everywhere, have received extensive
horticultural training. In return for this
training, we use this expertise to teach about
the culture of plants and their importance to
the environment and to quality of life. We are
an educational, non-profit, volunteer service
organization. If you would like to learn
