HCMG Information and Exhibit Booths: Various Locations in HCMG Service Area. The Hill Country Master Gardener Information/Exhibit Booth is available for community events. HCMG booth volunteers set up and take down the display as well as tend the booth during event hours. A wide variety of resources are available to help inform the public about gardening practices, answer gardening questions, and publicize upcoming classes and other HCMG events. Each exhibit booth has a volunteer chairperson who decides which materials will be used, and if they wish to provide a demo or children’s activity at the booth. The chairperson has creative latitude to add appropriate plants or other décor based on the event and the season, in order to keep the display fresh and appealing throughout the year. Volunteers provide information to the public and also have the opportunity to attend the event at no charge and to meet other vendors and organization volunteers
