Located in Hunt, Texas, Mercy Gate Ministries is a non-profit 501(c)3) organization dedicated to demonstrating the life-changing gospel of Jesus Christ to those affected by human trafficking and sexual exploitation. Mercy Gate Ministries’ mission is to break bonds of captivity, impart power over victimization and provide relational advocacy to help survivors of sexual trauma transition to become healthy contributors to society. This is done through residential and nonresidential programs, education, outreach, and advocacy opportunities.
The grounds surrounding Mercy Gate have been adopted by Hill Country Master Gardeners who transformed it into a sanctuary consisting of native and adapted plants to be enjoyed for years to come by residents and staff alike.
