Hill Country Master Gardeners are Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service-trained volunteers who educate the public about horticulture.

Participants receive 50 hours of instruction in topics such as soils and plant nutrition, vegetable gardening, water conservation, insects and disease, and lawn care.

When training is complete, the volunteers provide horticulture-related information to the community through the Kerr County AgriLife Extension Office.

The HCMG 2008 class is now closed and classes have begun.  If you would like to be notified when applications are available for the 2009 class, please email your information via the link on the right.  Or, you may call (830) 257-6568 and request that your name be added.
