Harold's Garden
Harold recently moved
away from the Hill
Country and will be
joining another Master
Gardeners group.
However, we will always

Heritage Rose |
Carefree Rose |
|
This rose is also called the Cup and Saucer rose because the
shaped flowers
are delicate porcelain pink. It's spicy fragrance
can be detected yards away.
It is an outstanding
Old English rose hybridized by famed botanist David Austin. |
This rose is also known as Katy Road Pink which is a
misnomer.
It is not particular about soil
or growing conditions and is also floriferous with new buds
appearing all the time.

Lindheimer Rose |
|
This rose is a fragrant flower that produces in rapid
succession, rarely being out of bloom.
It's colors change in intensity due to seasonal temperatures.
Mr. Lindheimer was a German
botanist who lived in Texas and collected plants in the 1800's.

Dame de Coeur
This cherry red rose is free blooming and very fragrant.
The flowers last a long time on the bush and in vases.

Antique Tea Rose "Madame Antoine Marie"
This is a very remontant
(ever-blooming) rose and quite
striking
in its various shades of
pink which fade to a cream.
It is very fragrant as well.
Being a
Tea Rose, it is very
adaptable to the Hill Country environment.
