Many problems have been thought through while digging in the dirt.

  Leigh's Garden

This is one of the sunflowers from the "Autumn Beauty" mix from Wildseed Farms.
I grew up in Kansas, and this is just a different twist on the Kansas Sunflower.

I love color, so I strive for lots of it along with plants that do well in my area.

Agapanthus  (Agapanthus africanus)
I grow them in the ground, and they always come back.

This daylily has lots of color; I wish I knew its correct name!

Mealy Blue Sage (Salvia farinacea) is one of the "tried and true" plants of the Hill Country.
A favorite pastime of mine is to sit on my porch swing and watch the birds, deer and other critters enjoy the area. The deer don't bother the mealy sage or any of the sages, for that matter.
